(Las Vegas, NV). Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Nevada has received a $20,000 donation from Credit One Bank in support of its site-based mentoring program at eight targeted Clark County Elementary Schools and four Boys & Girls Club of Las Vegas locations.
"We are so grateful and proud of Credit One’s unwavering support of our site-based mentoring program" said Molly Latham, Chief Executive Officer. "Our referrals from teachers and school principals continue to grow and we are always looking for more volunteers to be Big Brothers and Big Sisters. The need is great and just keeps growing. Credit One’s donation really makes a difference."
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Nevada hopes to surpass its present capacity of 408 mentoring matches this year. Since 1973, the nonprofit agency is volunteer-driven and donor-supported. We offer three programs: site-based mentoring, community-based mentoring and our new DREAMR Project providing specialized mentoring to teens in foster care.
